i would have to say maroon5 is the most overrated.

 

Hey I was trying to be nice and just say they were average. Thats because I like one song. I really think they suck the sweat from a dead cow's balls.

 

Yeah Phish does suck too.

Oh I forgot about Mettalica! A thousand times more over-rated than Led.

Green Day! (how the hell could you all not forget them?? )
The Doors... Jim Morrison especially
Led Zeppelin... especially Jimmy Page
Pink Floyd... I find them to be nothing more than an average band after they kicked Syd out.
Rod Stewart... he just sucks.
Metallica... 'nuff said. :H
Eric Clapton... soooo sooooo boring.

oh yes, and on a solo note: Janis Joplin.

She could sing, but that's it... she was the Britney Spears of the '60s... she wrote a few of the songs she sang, not many at all.

To me, any metal band that has sold a single cd is overrated. It is the most terrible music I have ever heard.

 

I have to say: oasis.. everytime I hear that voice I wish I was deaf..

I agree with the people that said Zepplin, AC/DC, Phish, Greatful Dead, Green Day, but I also have to say Nirvana, even though I like them. They were good, but I don't think they were geniuses or rock gods.

I agree there. I like Nirvana too but I didnt view Cobain's death as a big tragedy. At least they got us out of the glam-rock years...*shudder*

That's you though. I mean, just 'cause you don't know anyone that's said it doesn't mean that no one does. Seriously, I've known shite loads of people that reckon Nirvana were the best thing since sliced bread.
