I think the most important element of LSD is the ability to disconnect yourself from all your social programming and conditioning for atleast for 8 hours... With the vast amounts of advertising that human-beings are exposed to on a daily basis ... it is more important now than ever to be taking LSD to look thru all of the junk. LSD is like having a Junk Filter in your brain instead of your Inbox. The reason LSD is illegal is to stop human-beings thinking outside of the box and also so that you are more easily conditioned with each generation to do what the powers that be want you to do.
Dude, LSD is no miracle drug in the sense you are speaking with. The only people that acid can help are intelligent people, and even that is questionable for the most part. LSD is nothing more than a self-affirming experience, and someone who is initially susceptible to advertising is only going to be even more impressionable during, and after acid. Maybe not to advertising, but what is the difference if a commercial controls you or if the bhagavad-gita controls you?
i agree. fully. it makes us aware of ALL our programs. Are You Susceptible To Ads? CALL NOW! 1-800-I AM GODZ
I agree with neo. It's no more of a miracle than pot. You can have incredible experiences from just being stoned on weed, you just need to conciously give up.. just like you conciously give everything up on LSD, because before then it was subconcious if realized at all. See what I'm getting at?
lol. I can see where it would seem like that. Giving up isn't the right term.. letting go maybe. I know what I mean but I'm not sure how to say it.
Braind dead didnt say it right either tho..Letting go seems a little bit better though, it seems more naturell.
It activates the 5HT-2 serratonin receptors. This seems to turn off some of the normal restrictions on signals in the brain, so thoughts and sensory input feed back and are amplified. Sort of like taking the brake off a car. If you play guitar, here is another good example - it's like turning up the gain knob on the guitar amp. Everything gets louder and so you can hear things you weren't able to hear before, but there is also more noise and distortion. Much of this is speculation based on my experiences and the experiences of others. As far as scientific knowledge, we know it acts on the 5HT-2 receptors, but other than that we don't know much.
yea but this thread is not about the direct pharmokinetic action of the trip, its about the thing that happens to your entire universe once youve properly met Lucy.
