After being offered a job worth £70000-£90000 over 5 years plus a free degree and time off to do it, i was forced to turn it down cos they wanted me to loose my dreads. But after 4 weeks of fighting them on this and saying my pride is worth more than any amount of money, they have caved and i am now about to start next week with dreads intact!!! You don't know how amazing this feels! They could have just got someone else in, but they didn't, they caved to get me!!! Im special hehe ok just let me be all yay and big headed cos i don't often get to gloat! Im so chuffed cos all ive been against and still kept my head on rightiousness and then i finally win!!!!! By making a stand, i hope some difference will be made to the world. If people see more diversity in the world they will learn to accept more! Keep fighting or whats right and it'll all be perty!
YAY!! well done!! Im so glad you never gave in. Its Kama, your stand for what your heart truely beleives. this will say so much more to them than you accepting what they say. It showed that you are a very true and loyal to what you beleives. virtues they can not buy for someone.
