dont some songs just set the mood? these songs make me sad for reasons to embarassing to say.. "all summer long" -uh yes,the beach boys "get together" - the youngbloods this song makes me enthusiastic about life "time is tight" - booker T and the MGs these songs make me re-think my life "band on the run" - paul mcartney and the wings "hold yer head up" -argent so look at mine, and list songs and write down the moods they give off to you. i can prolly think of more moods and songs, but i cant think too well now....
I think it's maybe the other way around for me. I put on whatever music to match my mood, rather than the music setting it but it's basically the same idea: feelin blue: Blind Willie McTell by Bob Dylan writing mood: Suzanne by Leonard Cohen feelin different: Wild Child by the Doors lonesome loser mood: Lonesome Loser by the Little River Band drinking mood: Moodswing Whiskey by Jeff Buckley feelin optimistic: Fire And Rain by James Taylor feelin bored: New York Telephone Conversation by Lou Reed feelin good: Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival feelin lost: Can't Find My Way Home by Eric Clapton feelin found: 18th Avenue and Can't Keep It In by Cat Stevens broken-hearted: Blood On The Tracks album by Dylan not really feelin anything: Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones feelin a little of everything: Celebration Day by Led Zeppelin
