Mommy? Mummy?

    Is it only Americans that say Mommy? Its so fucking random! Whats your favourite word to hear people pronounce differently?
    I also love to hear an Irish person say 'potatoes'. :p

    i always just say mum, but sometimes mommy.. it depends :rolleyes: lol

    i love hearing Australians and English say alluminium. its rad.


    .. i say mummy.. but thats not a conscience choice.. i went to australia for awhile.. and that somehow stayed with me.. and so i just pronounce "mommy" as "mummy" now.

    i say mum or mummy. well, used to say mummy. I do say mom from time to time, but usually just mum

    I use "mum" "mom" and "Janet" depends on the situation

    When at work, and I ask if someone needs help, I'll say something like "Are you finding everything alright mum?' I'm saying ma'am, but it comes out mum. I live in Colorado, but never been outside the states, so I don't know where this came from.
