Mixing Pot and Tobacco in a Hooka

How do you do it? is there a certain technique I should use?

Here are some directions I found. I figured i would ask my loyal friends first!


1. Pack a ceramic hookah bowl with shisha as you normally would.
2. Grind up weed and spread it on top of tobacco.
3. Place a thin layer of shisha over weed.
4. Pour about a tablespoon of water over the bowl.
5. Cover bowl with tin foil and make extra large holes in it.
6. Wait about a half an hour for the water to soak in.
7. Place coal at the edge of bowl and move every ten or fifteen minutes. The center should be the last place to put it.

i use cannabis and shisha together a lot, your list was pretty spot on, except the water thing

just pack a normal shisha bowl, a little smaller obviously to make room for the bud. grind very fine, and spread evenly on the top in a somewhat thin layer

I would not add another layer of shisha on top. the bud will get too wet and too far away from the heat source, and not burn/vape properly.

do everything else normally. its possibly one of the best smoking experiences i've had. you get a very strong clean taste of the bud, along with the amazing taste of the shisha.

few things to note:

try not to let the smoke sit in the chamber for very long at all, as the cannabis smoke/vapor will go stale faster than just tobacco. this is more important at the start of the session as it will have the most of the bud smoke in it.

also, if you have a normal size shisha bowl (2-3 inches diameter) use more than one coal, i usually start off with 3 (if larger round coals) or 4 (smaller square coals) then as the bowl dries out, take one off. you are correct in the placement of the coals though.. start on the outside edge, and move your way inward. but one coal will most definitely not be enough heat to properly go through a bowl

prepare to get really high and to have some wonderful taste experience!

 

my friend has a nice big hooka and we just pour the weed in and smoke.

It seems to do the job lol.

 

I never realized there was such a system to it all... I ussually just grind it up together and throw it in but i think i might try that next time. Shisha is awesome

 

get some glycerin and use that instead of water.

 

haha i've only done it once, but we would just lift up the coal and drop a bunch of weed on the foil. as soon as we put the coal back down we'd hit it as long as we could LOL. i'm sure thats a terrible way to do it but whatever

there might be a hookah in my possesion soon buuut i dont smoke tobacco and i was wondering if theres a non-tobacco alternative? sorry to kind of invade this thread but i didnt see the point in making another similar thread :cheers2:

 

Shisha

 

uh shisha is tobacco (actually its the name of the hookah), he said non tobacco alternative. if you dont want tobacco there are some non-tobacco alternatives, just check your local hookah or tobacco shop i'm sure they'd have it

why exactly don't you want to smoke tobacco? if it's health reasons i understand, but if it's anything else, shisha is nothing like cigarette or pipe tobacco

 

i dunno...just dont like the plant in general but im not going to completely shun it...i'll try it but if i dont like it then i'll check the headshop near me and see about alternatives

 

I have done this several times. It is great. I also like to mix flavors. I was mixing Chocolate and Raspberry and the weed together. It was yummy and fun. Don't put water in the bowl. It's a waste. I also agree on the multiple coals.

 

Only done this twice, but it is fun.

 

What kind of hookahs do you guys have? I just have a one pipe hookah that is about 2 feet tall and blue. How do you clean the rez out of it? Any good tricks that I could learn?

 

do you inhale again after you take a hit? i do that with my weed but not hookah, i heard inhaling the hookah smoke can make you sick.

 

You're supposed to inhale hookah smoke.
