Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, may be tried for involuntary manslaughter, for the death of the singer. Prosecutors say he delayed calling 911 and misled paramedics and doctors by not telling them about all of Jackson's medications.

It seems like when Michael needed medical help the most this doctor was incompetent and unable to save his life. Witnesses at the scene gave testimony regarding the actions of Dr. Murray, revealing his professional incompetence. The doctor never admitted giving Jackson the drug propofol, which was partly responsible for his death.

It's also been revealed in testimony that Michael Jackson's children watched him die.

Now, Wa, you must realize that Michael Jackson was a pal to many animals (and children too!). Doesn't that rate with you?

Michael was just a normal guy doing normal guy things...

This whole thing has been such a mess, which is kind of sad. His life was a mess and now his death is a mess. I feel kind of bad for Michael, kinda seems like he was just a big weirdo who just wasn't understood by adults. I wonder what they will ultimately charge the doctor with, though, this certainly doesn't sound like murder to me.

Oh...and manslaughter's alright, this is Cali, right? Yeah...you only get 4 years and a slap on the hand for manslaughter in Cali. :(

Yes I agree, Ramona, this doesn't sound like murder just incompetence. There is a rumor that he was murdered by those who stood to lose if Michael didn't perform as expected, once they realized he couldn't pull off the show. I guess if he died, they'd get some insurance money out of it, but so far no proof has surfaced of this.

They did mention in the article that Jackson showed up unable to perform at a rehearsal at least once. The doctor's response to that was really weird, and makes it seem that he was pushing Michael to perform regardless of the toll on him.

Hopefully his pain and humiliation at being a (self-created) freak is gone too...

Just because I'm not particularly moved by the passing of Michael Jackson doesn't mean there aren't people who were and that doesn't make their grief any less justified. I hope they find the answers they are looking for, but I hope they also realize no solace will come from placing this doctor behind bars.

Forget involuntary manslaughter--Conrad Murray deserves to be charged with murder! This man does not even deserve to be called a doctor--a doctor is someone who does everything within his or her power to help their patients, not harm them--obviously, Conrad Murray does not seem to take the Hippocratic Oath seriously--or maybe he just plain doesn't give a damn about it at all! What he needs is to have his medical license revoked, in addition to being forbidden from practicing medicine anywhere on the planet--he has no business taking care of people! Yes, he delayed calling 911--he was cleaning up after himself! And I sincerely doubt that he would admit to having given Michael propofol--but I bet he did! As for those of you who called Michael a "weirdo" and a "freak"--I don't appreciate that at all--I've been a Michael Jackson fan since I was 11 years old, and I didn't like hearing that kind of stuff when he was alive; I sure don't like hearing it now! Besides, aren't we all "weirdos" and "freaks" to some extent?

I watched a movie with MJ in it yesterday.. yes Michael Jackson.
As a musician myself, I struggle with the fan and family life., and thats just a hobby to me. I can imagine MJ's life being really messed up.. Where he had no life at all.. just a big kid that never grew up..

I was sympathizing with him, sensitive much? Jeez, I'm a fan of the Beatles, but I don't fly off the handle when someone says they're overrated. Michael Jackson WAS weird, and I'm fairly sure he was well aware of that and comfortable with it, and good for him for it. Weirdo is not an insult, I know I am weird and I am very proud of it. Get off your high horse, please.

The weird one's always make the best music and are usually the best performers. I don't care what the man was like, he was super talented and did good things for music. A lot of people really looked up This whole mess with Dr. Murray was obvious from the get go. I want to know what the hell took them so long to figure it out! Propofal should be banned. A few years ago when my Mom tried to commit suicide and od they had her sedated for 4 whole days on that shit. She couldn't remember anything that had happened earlier that week.
