Wow, man... He was the mutha fuckin' king of pop, that's for sure... R.I.P. P.S. For a second I thought the other "big name" you were referring to was Coco Taylor...but she died a couple of weeks ago, so I guess you meant Farrah.:toetap05: ZW
yeah i meant farrah. Whats bugging me about the whole thing is how everyone was so quick to pounce all over him and hate on him, but now that he is dead he is all over the news and people are worshiping him again. Mass media, go figure
i never did think he did all the shit the media hyped him up to do. maybe he might have done something, but not what the media said. i dont see why so many people hated on him so bad, i mean he never really had a real CHILDHOOD/real parents. i always liked him and his music, i mean he has an amazing voice.
For the life of me,I cannot understand how people can rejoice or celebrate a death in the music world.Sure, theres artists that I cant stand, but I wouldnt be hanging out the bunting.
That Quote, Got My Vote. Some Of The Comments That Have Been Posted In Hip Forums Today Have Certainly Changed My Opinion Of Some Of My Fellow Members.. Cheers Glen.
I really never cared for Jacko's music... nor did I care for is status as an icon, however, it is very sad that the dude has died (apparently from a heart attck) at such a relatively young age. I don't think he had a very happy life, as hard as he tried. He seemed to have spent the last thirty years fighting himself. Let's hope that wherever he might be there is some peace. Still, I never liked his music. It always seemed to suck at least a great deal.
Unfortunately I'm already used to reactions of the masses like this. Doesn't really makes my head shake anymore, I kind of ignore it. He may have been an obvious weirdo but the way people judged him during is lifetime is beyond ridicilous. And no, I'm not thinking that because I'm a fan because I'm not. I didn't know him well either but I know enough to feel pity for him.
Right? It's like by saying it's sad that someone died that we're condoning (alleged) pedophilia, which is just ridiculous. I have had mixed feelings about Michael over the years. Never got into his music (except Smooth Criminal, I like that one), but I remember somehow feeling relieved when he was let go in the 2005 case (I was a senior in high school). It just didn't feel right to me, you know? Not that that's anything to go on, but really that's all any of us who weren't there have to go on. All I know is when I woke up this morning and saw this playing on VH1, I felt very sad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5KAJw4y8wE
Ive never been a fan of his music.Ok,I thought a couple of the Jackson 5 songs were listenable but thats about it.But,its sad nonetheless.
he was a freaking child molester----in prison hewould have been killed---scince he paid 20 million to keep it quiet with one of his kiddies--i dont have any sympathy for him and hope he suffered b4 he died--that said i loved the jackson 5 and his 80's albums----still can hate him though
