heehee lucky you!!! My best friend would be so cheesed off to hear u going to see metallica. They are her ALLTIME favourite band ever!!! She and I, and another friend of mine, almost went to see them at Download ( the scottish version of the tour) during the summer in Glasgow....that is until her mother decided that metallica were too satanic and she wasnt allowed to go !!! and because my friend wasnt allowed to go, i wasnt allowed to go!! lol it really wasnt a good time then!! peace and love xxxxxx
I saw them a couple of years ago at Mile High stadium. They sucked, but Korn was good and that was the first time I saw System of a Down. Sytem was awesome.
i met lars ulrich after a show he did in cincy. i had to work the night of the show, and i work at a casino bar. he showed up there, got drunk and was talking to everybody who came up to him. he even had his groupies with him. i waled up to him and said, "metallica is one of the greatest bands of all time" he says thank you, and that means a lot to him. but as i was walking away from him, i remembered the whole napster thing. so right before i walked around the corner i yelled, "o yea! thanks! napster was the shit!" and then quickly dissapeared. the next day the bartender was tellin me how pissed he was after that. i pissed off lars ulrich! thats awesome. but seriously, he is a bitch for the napster thing

Actually I think Jaymz is more responsible for Jason leaving, as he tried to block every project that Jason tried to do other then metallica. Also aparently there was alot of hazing when Jason replaced Cliff. Jason was treated quite badly, alot of the stuff he wrote was never used or thrown out.
i think jason was good, but i will always be partial to Cliff. Look at what happened when he died, things went astray. however, "and justice" was awesome too, so i cant say anything bad about jason. but, it seems like the band has just taken a huge shit.black album(i can deal with), load(meh), reload(horrid), garage(killer, but it was all covers and "back in the day" recordings), S&M(too many newer songs from load and reload played), and theres the greatest failure of them all; St Anger. I think Metallica was a great band and i will continue to be a fan of their old music, but as far as i am concerned, from this point on they are dead.
