You know the drill: water, rest if you're over-active, get active if you've been too sedentary. If you have more than 6 cramps in an hour, alert someone. :)

Yup, what they said. I had BH starting at about 12 weeks with my daughter... and the ONLY thing that helped at all was to keep drinking water, and lie down a bit.

DO bring this up with your doc at your next appointment. I had to be put on bedrest at 5 months because of several issues - but I know that the "premature" contractions were one of the main concerns.
    love,
    mom

they weren't coming and going cramps...sorry, forgot to mention that. when i used to get my period they would stay and not go anywhere. these were constant all day.
i did call the midwife though and she had me come in...said she had never heard of anything like this before. everything seemed ok, we got to hear the heart beat which was nice and strong. she told me to try and refrain from picking up Leane, since the pain started right after I picked her up from her dayhome the other day and had to walk home with her and then up 5 flights of stairs.
today everything seems to be alright, thankfully :)
