men and no shirts, what about the women?

i may sound like a male pig talkin, but please dont take it that way. I personally belive that if men can walk around in public without a shirt on women should be able to do the same, if not then men shouldnt be able to do it either...

 

Well we gotta get more places to accept shirtlessness for men first and then get those same places to accept women being shirtless. It does no good if places still wont allow men to be shirtless. I think there are very few places that should actually keep anyone from being shirtless against their will.

Well beaches already allow men to go shirtless with no problem and some even tolerate if not allow women to go shirtless so it seems pretty simple to get people to accept that on beaches.

 

The reason why it is not socially acceptable for women to go around shirtless is because breasts are considered erotic; something that shouldn't be shown and told. Unfortunately, society can be rather stupid sometimes, bare breasts just happen to be one of the things society is stupid about.

"Oh no! You can see that womens nipples! Oh how horrid it is to see what many of us saw as a source of food as an infant. They should never be bared in public! I'm clearly offended by what was originally intended to be!"

 

The attitude in Europe about women's breasts is different than in the U.S. People wouldn't have a nervous breakdown over the sight of a bare breast on TV like they did in the U.S. over the Janet Jackson thing. The U.S. is really quirky about this issue.

 

is there a law that says women cant go shirtless? its not even the breast but the nipple that they cant show on tv, if youve ever noticed you can show everything but a womans nipple, and you can show guy's buttcracks but not girls..

 

I think its quite absurd when you can show a woman's breast in its entirety except the nipple, the one thing that for the most part is pretty much the same as a man's nipple. Nobody is going to be harmed by seeing a nipple. If seeing a nipple bothers people than i would hate to see them have to deal with a more serious sight like someone who has been injured or disfigured. They allow that sort of thing on tv everyday and it seems ok but then they go and worry about some stupid nipple. I just cannot beleive such stupid people get into such important positions and get paid the kind of money they do to make such stupid assertions about the human body.

 

Seems like most Europoeans are laughing their asses off on how we dealt with the Janet Jackson thing over here because they think that its stupid that we worry about a nipple being exposed and that most people see the antics that Justin did the whole time as being normal. I dont mind Janet's nipple being exposed, what I didnt like is the sexual aspect of what those two were doing and how Justins actions were totally uncalled for for a guy to do to a girl.

 

The way things are going lately (ex. Janet Jackson issue) then by the time it's 2050 society is going to be like life on the movie "Pleasantville" and married couples will sleep in seperate twin beds without any knowledge as to what an orgasm is and only aware that intercourse is done to reproduce. *rolls eyes*

Thats mostly true because of society saying that theyre so. We have been told so long by society that breasts are sexual that we start to think and beleive that they are. Also we tend to beleive that anybody who doesnt feel that way is nuts but really breasts areint sexual organs and for the most part areint erotic, theyre just meant to feed babies and are not needed for sex. So there is no reason to make them illegal.

Nudists see vaginas as being alot less sexual than a person who is used to being clothed and seeing clothed people would. They might still enjoy or get excited by the sight of vaginas but it would be really minimal and the excitement and sexualization of it would probably go down in time, it varies from person to person. I dont usually get turned on too much by genitals unless I concentrate on them alot.

 

I only learned during the aftermath of the Janet Jackson thing that women being shirtless in the US was illegal. It's been legal in Canada for a few years now, although i must say that women aren't exactly excited to take their tops off and go outside, in fact, I've not seen anyone do it and those who have have been put in the news for being a role model or something like that.

 

There is nothing erotic about skin, at least not to me. Now, when something sexual is going on and it involves breasts, yes, they are erotic then.

Get over your niche as a male; just because other guys say a women's breasts are erotic doesn't mean any guy that disagrees with him has some kind of sexuality problem.

 

I don't think I'd go without a shirt even if I could.... It would be cool if other chicks wanted to, but I think that people are way beyond hope of ever desexualizing breasts to the point that I can walk down the street topless without feeling somewhat uncomfortable. It would be cool if it wasn't illegal, though, just in case I got drunk and changed my mind.

 

Just go topfree and go down the street and just be yourself and dont let what anyone says bug you. Im a guy and I go topfree alot outside and I get alot of flack from people and some of it IS sexual and remember im a guy but I dont let it bother me, I just consider such people to be immature and what they say doesnt bother me because I know it isnt right. If being topfree makes you comfortable then it dont matter what anyone else thinks, as long as you know youre not gonna get arrested for it then theres nothing wrong with doing it.

 

as a baby we dont realize that were naked, we dont urn to be clothed, its something thats taught adb forced on us as children by the world...
