This news forum is really unnecessary. Everybody's still posting news in the general forum, which most of us actually think is better. It's just a dead forum.

 

Aye, so it seems. It could maybe have a differant slant on it, like good news or bizarre news or something...

 

Yeah maybe, but most of that still ends up in the main forum because that tends to be the first place that everyone goes to when they hit the UK forums.

 

i suppose it would be helpful for people who never come to these forums.

So yeah, it is pretty pointless now. We could pretend it was a spelling error and make it a forum dedicated to newts, I guess?

i don't think THAT will get you banned. he's not pro-usa, though i noticed a few people took some of his statements that way.

but when you think about it, china wouldn't be much better. trading one bully for another isn't much of a difference. *sigh* we're doomed.

i just completely avoided the thing like the plague. i would look and read some or portions of posts but never commented. didn't want to get involved.

 

I've managed to get most of the bans reversed now. Please don't try to get yourself banned, it'll only make my job of restoring normality a whole lot harder. And I agree on the News forum, I think it's probably more sensible to use the main forum as the politics forum....

 

seems like the news forum has become a forum about the main forum and not actually about news.
