media players

what media players do you guys use?
I used to swear by winamp, but I have been using Itunes for the past few years because I have so much music, it's nice to have Itunes organize it for me and all those nice features. I'm sick of itunes though, it's takes up too much space and memory usage and makes my computer run really slow. I want something that will organize my music like itunes, but not so bulky. Recommendations?

 

Go back to Winamp, its the best! Especially for all that good music

 

media player, because i am lazy. winamp is ok, but i find windows media player to be far more intuitive for me, easier to use, etc

 

Windows Media Player.
I only organize ny title. I have about 1400 songs and seldom have a hrad time developing a plylist. I'm sure there are way better tools. but this works for now for me. Could change later

 

winamp.. didn't know there was an Itunes.. I don't explore much...

 

i use window media player... i don't have any songs on my computer currently... really the only thing i use it for is to play CDs that are too scratched for my stereo to read

its not itunes that makes your computer slow, its all the adware and spyware. i know you've been running that version of xp for a long ass time, i cant beleive its still usable. i'll take a look at it next time i come over.

 

winamp for music, itunes for its always sunny in philadelphia (can't play it in anything else), VLC media player for all other video files, windows media player for DVDs.

WMP, but I just conformed and bought an iPod, so I have to download iTunes.


I hate iTunes... damn iTunes.

 

but you need iTunes for your iPod. you should get an iPhone as well, you can use that with iTunes too, and it's an internet communications device to boot.

 

Yeah, it sucks.

I hate myself for buying an iPod... but every other mp3 player seems to fuck up somehow. I got a 30gb 4th Gen that looks and plays like new for 60$ on eBay... so it's really worth it.
