I use my fangs the way they were meant to be used, chomping on bloody animals.

    22 years or more veggie
and hunman fangs are not made for meat theyre made for roots and veggies, if they were made for met we could eat raw meat
carnivores kill with theyre teeth and claws\
    not guns, not slaughterhouses
    and carnivores dont cook
human intestines and teeth are not designed to eat meat at all

go bite into a live cow and see for yourself

Wow man, you always make alot of sense. It makes me want to go vegetarian but my family wont go for it at all. Are those frozen food isle "meat" patties soy, or just cheap meat? Sorry cant think of the brands.

theyre probly ground up whatever...pure crap

think about this too, since youyr intestines are not made to digest raw meat (cooked meat either) something has to aid that digestion, bacteria... after a year or 2 meat free your body completely rejects it as a toxic substance, 1 bite can cause high fever, vommitting chills ..the fever ends after u puke up everything, but u can be left with this feeling like somethings rotting in your intestines..this can last for weeks

typical omnivores have roughly 25 pounds oh meat literaly rotting in the intestines...that doesnt come out without something to flush it through
and.... eatting pork just once, no matter how well cooked, even chared to the bone means worms..the eggs cant be killed no matter how long its cooked (i dont think theyre tape worms, i think its a less harmfull variety but theyre there...try some wormwood or something and see for yourself)

vegatarian diets do make so much sence, thats why the meat industry and media tries so hard to demonize it, make you believe yopur not a man if you dont eat meat make u think veggies are weak or sickly or less competatiove or agressive (the agressive part may have some merit since your not living off the victims of violence you may be less violent, but that doesnt apply to the type of agressiveness that might make you competative)

What about wholefood omni ie one that incorporates the good parts of a vegie diet but adds some meat so as include the elusive vitamins and minerals that you find in free range beef and lamb? Wholefood omni diets include oily fish and other seafood for the long chain omega -3's.
Anyway I already thought we have had a poll like this but it did not include wholefood omni as an option.

its certainly better then typical omni, thats for sure
but when u examine the food chain, all nutrients flow from earth to plant to animal wether animals get those nutrients second hand (carnivores eatting herbivores) or from the source directly (herbivores eatting plants) and then goes back to the soil the fact is, there is no nutrients that are only availible through meat sources and not other vegatarian sources that are needed to live healthily
ofcourse the meat industry being a big business hires pr firms to falsify claims that certain minerals and vitamins are more important then they are and only availibly through theyre products to increase theyre revenues

ever wonder why every week you hear how 1 things good and another bad? its all about whos spending the most money funding "studies" to prove the importancvce of theyre productsone week your told to eat more meat and less bread to lose weight and be healthy (nonsence) and the next your told to eat more bread and less meat to get the same effects
im not 1o00% sure but to me it makes sence that those nutrients your getting from fish originate in seaweed right? and would be a better source at that
actualy just looked it up and that seemed to be true, tried copying a link but fotr some reason tonight everytime i copy something in firefox it crashed so google vegatarian long chain omega 3 sources or long chain omega 3 sources from seaweed or something
like i said the industry likes making false claims to keep you a slave to it

I'm vegetarian, have been for about 2 months now, I love it! I can actually taste vegetables now, and I looove them! I would happily eat a plate of veg rather than any meat substitute, in fact if I go away somewhere I tend to. I do get a good balance of food though, i'd love to go vegan, but I'd miss cheese, yoghurt and chocolate too much (curse dairy products!)

I certainly prefer vegetarian, but sometimes when there isn't any food available other than meat, I'm not gonna starve myself, so, I'll eat meat.

if it don't eat me first ... i do enjoy my bit of raw flesh once in a while, but i can see the point of going veg (although i think it would be more effective if we also went public transit wherever we could, even if that is another thread)

i definately wouldn't kill anything i wasn't going to eat, benthonic or ceasil either one.

Omni- I tried veg and was impressed for the most part, but there were drawbacks as with everything. I still eat more plant-based food than animal, just because it's better for you, but I am a firm believer in the food chain. That's not to say that I don't think we abuse it, but yeah. I'm not getting into the debate.

I was a vegetarian for four years before I went back to eating meat about a year ago. Now I'm trying to be veg again. It seems harder this time around, but I'm working on it. Taking one day at a time!
