How the fuck do you edit a movie?

I'm trying to burn There Will Be Blood, and it's eight minutes too long to fit onto the DVD.

I've seen more than a dozen full length movies on one disk. The quality is worse the more you shrink it, but it doesn't cut anything out of the movies.

Fuck if I know. I just want to burn this facking DVD, but it won't let me 'cause it's 8 minutes over capacity.

Theres 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte.

A DVD can hold 4.7 gigabytes.

If your only using 900 MB's then you should have around 3800 MB's left on a blank DVD.

 

Do you have Nero?

 

It's not a DVD if it's only 900mb. You need to download the DVD rip for it to play back on a DVD player.

You probably have the Xvid version. Your friend can play it on their PC though.

The DVD rip should be and ISO. Nero will burn this.

I suppose I could just put it on a jump drive and upload it to Thsam's computer; they have the laptop hooked up to the TV anyway.
