Has anyone tried these legal pills from Amsterdam Smartshops? My friend tried pills called Dance-E last year, she liked it a lot. But she has never tried real E or MDMA so she can't really compare it for me! Do you have recommendations, anything I SHOULDN'T try?
I'd reccommend seeking out the pure chemicals if you can obtain them rather than a random mix of whatever these marketed unlisted alternatives may be. 6-apb is my favorite MDMA-esque research chemical. Overall its kind of like a meeting point between MDMA and 2cx but its got more of an MDMA type headspace and feel. It is more potent then MDMA and lasts a few hours longer. There is 5-apb as well which is generally considered a bit less trippy than 6-apb, but more of a stimulating kick to it. 5-mapb, which I have not explored myself, is one of the newer ones that people are saying is even closer to emulating MDMA then the apb's. Based on chemistry and pharmalogical theory, 6-mapb should be even better but that hasn't been explored much. Methylone is also good if its legal in your country. It's kind of like 'diet MDMA' not quite as full on with the empathogenic and sensory enhancing effects but also not quite as seemingly taxing on the mind and body.
Legal MDMA substitues are nothing new. Usualy they are just caffine and something that can be create a mild MDMA experience. I don't know anyone who would take it over MDMA. I would guess your friend liked it because they have not had real MDMA. That doesn't mean these legal drugs are bad, just not as good.
Amsterdam. Lots of memories. About 5 years ago the Smart Shops were selling a vanilla "room deodorizer" that was MDAI. Very similar. The thing about Amsterdam is they don't really police the precursors, so real MDMA is silly cheap. In the Red Light district, the really shady looking dudes on the street sell good pills for 5 Euros. They must get them for practically nothing, too. Pointed out to a guy that he dropped one, when a buddy was purchasing a pill. He made a dismissive motion with his hand, leaving a nice ground score. My advice is to go get some refrigerated psychedelic truffles ("philosopher's stones") from a Smart Shop, and spend one of the best afternoons of your life in The Van Gogh Museum. For a haunting, disturbing, but, potentially, soul-lifting experience- go to The Anne Frank House and walk through the same hinged bookcase the Nazis did. Speaking of which, if you're speaking German and being a total asshole, you may hear a local say, "Give me back my bicycle." The Nazis stole all their bikes and rode them back to Germany.
Now this is great advice. I have always wanted to go to Amsterdam and plan to in the next year or two. Truffles and the Van Gogh Museum now that would be a godly experience.
Unless they're 'research chems', those will be just herbal concoctions, i.e. something any respectable parent should feel fine giving to their children - if they're letting them hit the Red Bull already anyway. There's no substitute for the real thing, as is the case with most of life's finer things.
