Max Ibuprofen dose?

I have 12.8 codeine/200mg ibuprofen tabs. What is the max ibuprofen dose at one time? I can't seem to find this info.

Also what is the difference between "mg" and "mg/kg"?

The doctor has recommended that I take up to 1600mg, but no more. I've seen people take 2400mg and be fine though.

mg/kg is milligrams per kilogram. Meaning you can take a certain amount of a drug, based on how many kg your body weighs.

 

To add to topnotch's post toxic effects are unlikely at doses below 100 mg/kg.

 

if ibuprofen is the same as apap in like oxycodone then 5000 mg should not be exceded in a 24 hour period but ive accedently takeing more than that in a 24 hour period and i was fine but my back hurt for a while

 

It depends...How much do you weigh??
