Marijuana Tax Stamps

    I was reading the norml websites about this and i really dont quite understand it... I live in texas which, has tax stamp law. i just dont really understand what it means could someone please explaine? does this law help or no?

    that law hasn't been around since 68 I believe, Timothy Leary vs. Supreme Court made it no longer since it was unconstitutional, and I believe marijuana was legal for sometime after that in the 60s, correct me if I am wrong. The law did not help, it was what made marijuana pretty much against the law in the first place.

    Well... what they did was make the law, but didn't issue tax stamps... because actually outlawing a plant staightforwardly would have been so ridiculous/unconstitutional at the time, that nobody would have gone for it.

    So they took an unconventional approach to it and passed it in an estimated 90 seconds. They actually did a study on this sort of approach and it's much like a teacher grading papers... eventually they're going to grow tired and start skipping around more, paying attention less. They actually used non-layman terms to hypothetically ban H20, one time. I can't remember where I read it, but you could probably google it or something.
