Some say it's the safest illegal drug when it comes to the health of an unborn child. They also say it's safer that regular cigarette smoking and alcohol. Some say it causes abnormalities. Experts argue. I wouldn't dream of it, it just isn't worth it.
I think if drugs are more important then the well being of your child then you aren't a very good parent. NO drugs when pregnant IMHO.
i think you should do your homework and find out all the facts before making any decision...i can tell you that many times i have come across information that says the only thing unsafe about marijuana in pregnancy is the smoking of it....it can be helpful and safe for both of you if injested.
Just to be on the safe side, I don't think I would do it. I know that generally most people think it's safer, but I don't think that the facts are completely there to support it. It's only nine months you'd have to go without, vs. a lifetime of regret if something bad happened to your unborn child.
I have to agree...I had a child who was stillborn & I didn't use marijuana with the child. With my next pregnancy, I did use marijuana & it lowered my stress level dramatically, which contributed to the good health of my son, who was born extreemly health & extreemly intelligent. Many of my friends who used marijuana during their pregnancies found that the biggest problem was that they gave birth to very intelligent children. And just for the record, my son, now 19, does not smoke, drink or use any kind of drug.
That's down to experience. I don't mean to sound rude when I say this, but I couldn't imagine telling the woman of a stillborn child that had she ingested marijuana things may have been different. Marijuana may well have lowered your stress levels. You also had a heathy baby boy. However, I have a friend who ingested marijuana whilst pregnant and her son suffers with ADHD. It doesn't mean the two are connected but she feels like she made a massive mistake, since there are studies that show that marijuana can be harmful to babies. There are also plently of studies that show that marijuana isn't harmful to babies, and other studies that come up inconclusive. Studies are insufficient. I don't even think bad of women who do ingest marijuana (providing they're not smoking it!) whilst pregnant, but I wouldn't consider it. There are enough opinions to suggest things either way, and heaven forbid if there was anything wrong with my child I'd constantly be wondering if that could have contributed.
did i fuckin stutter?! yeah helpful.... with nausea, insomnia, as already mentioned stress, it also helps with bowel movements because yes you do become constipated.... there are many things it can be helpful for i dont get why you're constantly posting your shit in these threads, its never useful nor do i think you have a clue what you're talking about.
adhd? its not from pot, it's from slack parenting.... give the kid focus and direction and you'll be surprised. please link me to these "studies"
ADHD? It's from slack society. It's society that developed an illness, not the parents. Unfortunately these days a child remains the entire responsibility of a parent. Schools aren't allowed to punish a child. The kid acts up and gets sent to the head teachers office, or his mum gets called. He loves it, he's not stupid. His mothers view? Sort him out! I'm not saying parents don't contribute, but ADHA has more contributions than slack parenting. Didn't quote that part, did you?! Look up said information yourself. I'm not a researcher. It's all there, black and white. If you're in such disbelief, then please link us to solid proof that marijuana doesn't harm babies. I'm not asking for information telling us that it damages lives, since we already know it generally doesn't kill people. That's not to say it doesn't cause stress to such a tiny being. Babies do absorb THC. It probably won't kill the child, but this doesn't mean that marijuana is good. Possible! Somebody wrote this, and some people believe it. Unfortunately marijuana is an illegal drug and we've not had the benefit of real unbiased medical knowledge from the biggest pharmaceutical companies. So when girls say they've heard even a 'rumour' to suggest that marijuana is bad for a foetus, they're not wrong for listening to it. It doesn't mean it's true, it means they'd rather not take the risk. The day someone proves with solid evidence that marijuana is actually good for a baby in utero is the day the world will start doing it. I wouldn't do it if I was pregnant. I wouldn't think bad of any woman who chose to, but nothing bad would come from being too cautious.
I have known women who have smoked (In small amounts) during pregnancy to combat nausea & their babies were fine. I just don't think I'd be willing to take the chance. And if something were to go wrong, I'd always wonder. IMO it's just 9 months, I can wait.
My friend was told by her doctor that she could smoke pot and tobacco up until the 4th month. I think her doctor is kinda stupid. And my friend said that the "What to Expect When You're Expecting " book said marijuana is okay. I dunno. Like a lot of people said, why risk it? If you smoke marijuana and something does happen to your baby, you will always wonder if it was the pot. The guilt will eat you alive. Better safe.
No don't do it. It is known that marijuana smoking deposits more tar in the lungs than cigarette smoking does. Yes there is tar in pot. Tar is full of chemicals.
wtf do you think rep is for?!!? thats not a new one, thats exactly how the rep system works genius.... i didnt bother with quoting and replying to all your shit cause I dont think you have a clue what you're talking about
Has anyone ever read the Jamaican Study by Dr. Dreher? Consider a woman who uses a vape or makes tea out of it. She never smokes it while she is pregnant. She uses it to stop severe morning sickness and avoid malnutrition for her unborn child. How do you feel about that? On the other hand...there is the woman who smokes heavily for recreation during her pregnancy. The people she smokes around sometimes drink and they don't bother going outside to smoke cigarettes out of respect for the growing fetus. I see it like this: Many doctors advice women that 4 oz. of red wine is safe to drink during pregnancy OCCASIONALLY. Not hard alcohol, and not a few beers at the bar. I think the potency, purpose, and dose should be considered. BTW, I am not pregnant. Just have some friends who said it was the only thing that helped them with the nausea during the first few months. They had healthy babies. They only used small amounts, and only before a meal.
Everyone I know whos had a child and smoked pot while pregnant... to put it delicately... most of them are retarded. (Learning and developmental problems, speech impediments, etc...) I think its safe to say any drug use while pregnant is irresponsible. Your not just affecting yourself, but the unborn child aswell.
