There's a marathon here on the island every year and this year I volunteered to give out gatorades and water.

It was hilarious. I dressed up as the Hydration Hero. I had gold pants with bright blue bikini bottoms over them, black and white star knee high socks, and my green converses...plus a bright shirt over another bright shirt...AND a cape with a Panther on it.

Oh and I can't forget the sunhat.

A bunch of us that I work with went...we had a lot of fun...even if we DID have to get up at 530 in the morning. A couple of the guys wore footie pajamas and mullet wigs. It was ridiculously funny. Luckily we were right at the beginning of the race handing out water, so we got to leave relatively early.

Anyone ever ran a marathon or handed out water. It's a lot of fun!

I ran a half marathon in highschool. Had to quit smoking for six months to do it.

The Boston Marathon is next month [IMG]

I’ll probably drive down with a few buddies and applaud those poor saps who shorten their lives with every stride [IMG]

Heartbreak Hill is always a good vantage point or at Wellesley College (Hillary Clinton's old stomping grounds)

I stay away from marathons entirely. I'm too lazy to even watch that much running.

The Chiquita banana company was passing out free bananas at the start of a very large marathon and raving about how healthy they are. Jay Leno said, "Oh great. Ten thousand runners and banana peels all over the place." :)

This is the only marathon I've ever done.
