mando. songs

i just started to play the mandolin and iv'e been trying to find some good songs to learn and i cnt find any....or im just nt paying close attention to the song and im nt realizing im hearin the mandolin.........btw im open to any genre of music for the mando.

That there's a rendition of Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow" preformed entirely on a mando. Btw, there's a mando in my sig picture.

mandolincafe.com as mentioned earlier is a great site for learning the mandolin

 

your best bet on playing mandolin is to find other musicians to play with, as it will be alot easier to find songs to play, as well as more fun. i suggest first, finding an acoustic guitar player, they are everywhere don't worry. after that, maybe find a bass player and a banjo player...then you have a small bluegrass band!
