And they say drugs are bad for you. Interesting video, but damn what a dumb ass. I'll bet the train engineer shit himself.
eh,.. we used to do that all the time. One spot, the rain sunk the ties and there was a divot .. its LOUD!! have to watch for low hanging couplers but it was hell of a rush.. Then got boring ..
The train going over you didn't try to pull up on you? It seems like it would, at least when it first started over you.
Train doing 65mph takes over a mile to stop,. When rounding a bend its impossible for them to see you, at night you just look like a lump of ballast sand or coal.. there is another section on a bridge where the ties are spaced apart and you can put your head up there and see it coming head on. That is scary as fuck, there is more than 14inces of space though ,. Its just looks like it will take your head off.. youre better off doing it once the engine passes , then you can get a little used to it. Really It took me many many time to face it head on and Im not really afraid of nothing. But its a little to much lol.. It would just about get there and Id duck. the running over part is easy though, just lay perfectly still and you can close your eyes.. oh .,. I should say rather the Air Lines not the coupler, they are low and vary in size, when going from car to car.. the End air line could be hanging off and hasnt be strapped up to the light kit, is what you need to worry about the most. The big metal end will smack you in the nuts.. hopefully hit the tip your shoes and miss. It will hurt even more so it hits you in the head./.
I did this shit when I was 16, but the same train always went by and we leaned by watching the thing. I also smashed a couple boards on the track and dug a little whole, I did it a couple times, I even made the whole dug in enough to eat a sandwich while it was going over me. I stopped when I saw a friend of a friend get ripped right in half by the end air liner.
Bout to watch it. Someone gets hit something like every 45 seconds by a train. And I think that's in the US, and the world rate is much higher, though that MIGHT be the world. (or at least that was the estimate a long time ago, like 8 years, as I recall) *edit* OH, like that.... I've always sort of wanted to do that, but I never could, I see lots of easy ways to still die... He has a good track for it, because the ties are sunken in the middle on those.
I was cutting school once, sleeping under some coal cars. and it went BOOM and it was going to be moving. I figured the engine wasnt going to pass over me, it was day time.. them loud noises would scare me though..
I always wondered if that was possible to do. I always thought there would be something under the train that might slice you in two. What is concrete ties?
They are high on the Ends, and dip in the middle just a little, There are others that Ive seen totally flat.
Concrete slabs are more rare because they are newly made then the old wooden ones, basically concrete slabs have a dug curve to them, that's why I had to dig a hole by breaking the old wooden boards when I was younger, because if you lay on wooden boards without a curve or digging a hole you can't tell if your under bar level and if you don't level it right it'll take off your head.
I seeeeee. And why do they dip in the middle, through years of randomly being scraped by something hanging out the bottom of a train?
