What are you doing for your mama? This is only the second holiday this year that I've gotten excited over. I think I'm gonna cook my mama some challah french toast. And give her homemade gift cards like "Free Pedicure" and "Have Your Daughter Clean the House." Ooohhh, I love her so much. I suck at giving pedicures.
my mother and i ...we clash. so nothing for "mama" this year or any year in fact. Sounds cold i know but i feel like she is responsible for tarnishing most of my youth.
I don't know yet. Hmmm...my mother works on Mama's Day so it will be belated for her. I need to put some more thought into it. Last year I packed a picnic lunch and my kids and I took her to the park. There was a psycho squirrel that wouldn't leave us alone. I mean, this squirrel looked evil, like it had rabies or something. Needless to say, we didn't stay at that particular spot for too long, and packed up and went to the flower gardens instead.
Huh when is mother's day? Is it bad that I'm only aware of most holidays cause of the google logo changing?
I just recently moved out of my mother's house and (because I'm living on my own) I'm broke all the time. So, I'm forced to make prezzies for everyone, as opposed to buying them. I do, however, like making gifts because they're more personal. Anyways, I found an old frame and painted it purple. Then, I drew a few sketches from pictures of my mother and I. Silly shots of us dressed up at Halloween or making goofy faces at a buffet. The black and white sketches surrounded a portrait I've painted of her. It's all in black and white, except her crazy burgundy hair and the background is painted purple (to match the frame). I call my mother Woman because of the John Lennon song. So, in any open space on the collage, I've scribbled lyrics to the song. It looks kinda funky and I hope she'll like it. *crosses fingers*
ahah bella donna is a good daughter. i'm writing my mom a song and i'm cooking her a complete suthun breakfast and then i'm doing the gift card thing like krystin already said because i do that every year hahh.
