I've read the process for making LSD and was wondering if it's as hard as it sounds to make? I'm hoping that some of the processes they discuss are a lot simpler than they sound. (Not used to scientific lingo.) Also, are all the chemicals are to get a hand on, and how long does it take to make 1 "batch? "
yeah all the chemicals are house hold products... all the shit you read on the internet is the super smart chemistry nonsense that basically describes the simple LSD synthesis reaction that goes on between a fosters beer can and moldy rye bread in your closet. what you'll need: 3 cans of fosters beer (this is ingredient L), 2 plastic bags (and this ingredient s), and 12 peices of moldy rye bread(and last but not least, the ever important ingredient D). if you combine all 4 ingredients and put them in your closet, wait for 3 days. after 72 hours has gone by, the L, S, and D ingredients combine to make LSD! pull the rye bread out, and boil the LSD beer down till all the moisture is gone and you're left with a goo. you could further refine it into a crystal but i just put it into a herbal supplement capsule. it works the best when used as a suppository (believe it or not.. its an tip i got from an old head, and it changed my life)
I meant that in the sense of the ingredients more so...like I know that Lysergic Acid itself is a schedule 3, so I was just wondering if all the chemicals were that hard to get.
If you have a friend with a chemical engineering degree, and you can get the chimals, good look, or use the recipe in this thread and give yourself ergot poisoning. The effort and tricky procedure, the fuck around to obtain the chemicals- it's not really worth the hassle unless your planning to sell it and make a lot of money, or eat lots of acid for the next few years and end up like Syd Barrett (god bless his soul- legend is up there jamming with Cobain and Hindrix).
You have to have a completely clean and sterile lab or it can seriously fuck up the LSD and cause bad trips. That's coming from my friend who is a chemist and has wanted to make it for a long time now, but won't for fear of bad acid.
these burnouts have no idea what they're talking about, acid is easy to make, just follow the directions i posted
Yeah. There are two main problems with LSD production. 1. Ergotamine as a precursor. Illegal in the states. Can be self manufactured, but is highly poisonous. Attempts to import ergotamine into the US is a 10 year prison sentence. 2. One of the other required chemicals (don't remember which at this moment) is also a precursor for chemical weapons. Also illegal. Everything else other than that is easy as pie, if you have a PhD in chemistry and teach at a facility that will allow you to order all of the chemicals required that aren't illegal (chloroform, MeOH, etc). If you don't work at a facility that will allow you to get the other chemicals, you never will.
Oh, and yes you can replace the ergotamine as a precursor, but it is the most cost effective way. LSA is nearly impossible. You could use Lysergic Acid or any of its other amides, but I be they are exceptionally expensive. And still require a liscense of some sort.
Everyone talks about making LSD in the most worst conditions. Sure the chemicals are more then likely to be a pain in the ass to get in most situations, but theres acid out there so obviously its not the main factor. The way i see it is your either serious about making it, which is like traveling around the world in a single engined airplane, or you just want to make it. I think all someone would have to do, is find someone who has made acid, and become an apprentice. Sure there isnt many but good luck getting a chem degree, getting the materials and suddenly making acid. No chemical recipes are step by step guarunteed results. University knowledge would help, but if you asked a bunch of random chemists if they could make LSD given the information, they would probably have no experience with the chemicals and reactions it needs. So unless anyone in here truly beleives that its a reachable goal, i don't think anyone should waste their time thinking about it. Never mind you would most likely need to own lab equipment, making acid in a community lab wouldnt be that smart.
LSD is a schedule 1 drug, though I'd guess you're up there in our attic cuz you said it's 3. It wouldn't require a PhD, I have a friend who is somewhat familiar with all of the techniques used (has not himself practiced all of them, but has at least read through how they're done) and is quite interested in the chemistry behind it, though he himself would never want to eat any. Heck, he'd do it almost for free just cuz the chem is so advanced and it's one of the few projects that would be somewhat challenging. Nurses - other chemicals can be substituted, but most of those techniques will not work, or will produce a chemical so unstable that it wouldn't be practical to transport it. Just forget about it, you won't do it. Even with blackmarket access to the precursors (which, I'd have to say, you're going to have to be CONNECTED out the wazoo if you're gonna pull that off) you won't have access to lab space and the thousands of dollars worth of really fine glassware and other chromatography equipment and the like. And even with access to all of that...do you remember taking chemistry in high school and kids would fuck up the experiments that had directions like "take a 5 cm strip of mangenese..blahblah, then over a heat source boil 6L H2O for blahblah then blahblah" and like one person would do it right? Imagine just how badly you'd fuck up the chemical processes when HOW HARD you stir something can mess with not only the quality of your product but whether or not you actually end up with LSD. And you can't even do most of the steps under regular light because of the sensitivity of certain chemicals during certain stages. Not to mention that some of these things have to be done under a special ventilation hood because inhaling the chemicals can kill you. Lets make a comparison - how easy is it to make meth? Pretty easy right - a high school dropout could do it. And how many meth labs have you heard about blowing up, or people getting sick or dying from fucking some part of the process up? Now think about it - making LSD is wayyyyy harder, not to mention is just as dangerous. I could keep going, point is you need to realize that there's a reason why LSD is hard to find right now.
I said Lysergic Acid is schedule 3, not LSD. But yall have convinced me. I was hoping it was as easy to make as meth...ah well.
