Here's a little breakdown of what is about to happen when Trump's "Tariffs" go into effect.
HE would have you believe that the "OTHER" Countries will be paying the tariff, that isn't the case, that isn't how tariffs work.

Tariff Cost Breakdown in Simple Terms
    1. A U.S. company pays for imported goods before they even reach the country.
    2. Upon arrival in the U.S., the company pays a 25% tariff on the shipment's total value.
    3. The company absorbs this cost initially but cannot sustain losses.
    4. To recover costs, the company raises prices when selling to distributors.
    5. Distributors raise prices further when selling to retailers.
    6. Retailers pass the increased cost onto consumers, who ultimately pay the full price of the tariff.
    Who Really Pays?
U.S. consumers – They end up paying more for everyday goods.
U.S. businesses – Higher costs make them less competitive.
U.S. economy – Inflation rises, potentially slowing growth.

    Who Does NOT Directly Pay?
The foreign country – They receive the full price for their goods before tariffs are even applied.

So, while Trump’s rhetoric suggests that other countries pay, in reality, tariffs are taxes on American businesses and consumers. Feel fee to check this with other reliable sources.

For those of you who read history and perhaps see patterns.
    Brown Shirts = red hats
America has long been in actuality political maggots eating our freedoms and destroying the planet; that is if actions speak louder than words.
Patriots should be allowed to speak the truth !

    Project 2025 = Enabling Act of 1933
    Historical Facts:
In 1933, President Paul von Hindenburg allowed his then Chancellor Adolf Hitler to bypass the legislature and enact laws by decree as a measure of expedience.
in 1934 Paul von Hindenburg died, and Adolf Hitler declared himself Fuhrer und Reichskanzler (Leader and Chancellor)
From then until his death in 1945, Hitler ruled entirely by decree. (ie: All by Executive Oder) (any of this sounding familiar?)
From 1934 on, Hitler, removed those people from government that disagreed with him and replaced them with loyalists. He instituted special offices to carry out his agendas.
What Musk did was not a Roman salute, it was his blatant expression of the Rise of the Trumpreich. Ask yourself? Has anything been legislated since Trump took office this time?
No, it hasn't, everything has been by executive order. Trump is right now Ruling America by Decree, and the entire house is afraid to do anything for fear of being removed from office by the Dictator on the rise.

NEWS FLASH: Most people who claim Trump is another Hitler don't know why they think that, and those who disagree are of the belief that Hitler took over Germany by use of military force. But they are Wrong. He was handed the country by the legitimate authority in power at the time and he gladly accepted and used it as a springboard to create an Authoritarian Regime.

There are many cases where American local stores of American nationally-known grocery corporations jack up their prices 25% to 40%, "just because". These use American grains, meats, fruits, etc from American sources. NO tariffs involved. Just corporate greed.

The idea is to make foreign goods less attractive to the end user. But the concept fails miserably.

The only REAL answer for ANY country is to maintain balance of payments, as per the agreement set up between the UK and India in the year 1600.

I was taught this principal when I was 10 years old, but it seems to baffle world leaders today.
In reality the enemy of the west is China, who receives billions along a one way street.

Trump was theoretically correct that financially Canada is ripping the US off.
BUT, the following fact applies. Canada do not supply goods to the US, unless the US orders them, so whose fault is it.
The answer lies in the decline of US manufacturing industry.
Sadly, it took 40 years to happen, so to fix it all will take a couple of decades.
Therefore, any president who starts the ball rolling will see all the pain with zero gain during his term. Finding people willing to do manual work these days will be the major hurdle.

Jane thinks I have the only answer. by taking to the streets wearing sandwich boards.
On the front board........... "The end is nigh"
On the rear board........... "Look out, here it comes"

I think many of them aren't evil. Delusional perhaps. However, if we break it down to the school playground scenario; it's more like several school gangs discovering a new guy and he's the new bully. They all rally around him not realising that the 'day' of a bully is numbered and when he's gone they'll feel deflated, even less hopeful such that reality will just hit them even harder.

All that, and the country will be in a worse place which means they be even worse off. Angry too perhaps. The US needs to prepare for that.

I believe that, Vladimir Putin harbors deep resentment toward the United States for its role (real or perceived) in the collapse of the Soviet Union and the weakening of institutions like the KGB.

So I don't think it is so much about weakening western democracies, as much as it is a Personal Vendetta against the USA.
