Yeah, I think it may happen too. At least a little bit. More people in my area have been wanting to get more into psychedelics and stuff. I doubt it'll ever be like the 60s again, but it'll be something.

More people are aware of it and are not as afraid of it as they were. The 60's layed a foundation and more and more are willing to accept it. The LSD Synosium(sp) was a milestone for LSD awareness. It up to us all to intorduce and protect it. Responsible usage and understanding are keys.

There has been an acid wave in my town too. It has been increasing greatly. People are celebrating its use. But still, its underground (or aboveground) and is struggling to break out.

Go to a festival, LSD is THE drug to take. Its still big and still known as the mind expanding tool it is, but because of the incredibly scary penaltys attached to it, it is kept very quiet until a free-for-all like bonarroo or 10klf

Yes Sunkid, these ideas are good, but we can't really do any of that unless there was a resurgence in production and supply - and distribution. As far as I know we're still in a shitty-ass drought. I agree with all that but only a small percentage of people can even get any LSD.

yea it's the truth though, kids really want acid.

at my high school the only drugs readily available are weed, pain pills, benzos, and coke. but everyone wants to try lsd, there just isnt any. it's really a shame.

the only reason i ever found doses was by coincedence, i got into jam bands and found out people sold doses in the lots the first time i went to a show, when i was like 14. but most kids search in vain.

You can spread it around like how Ken Kesey did start up acid test. You dont need to start big. Just create a concert or some kind of entertainment (or both)... And over time it can grow. Remeber the Acid test start small with like 60 people, then it grew from there to a new scene. :D
The only problem is getting electric koolaid... >.>

hehehhehehe,, when kids quit gettin so excited,, an understand the meaning of it all,, it may one day make a comeback..

lsd is a complex thing,,thus it takes complex people to understand that there are complexities with starting a wave of her..

I think it'll happen soon enough. I've just got this feeling... not that I have experience with it, but that will come soon enough. I think part of the key is to sort of change the way society thinks to something more positive and free, not confined and just accepting that things are the way they are and unchangeable. And how to do that? Not sure... just sending out good vibes I guess, and speaking out. Then maybe society in general will be more receptive of a rebirth of LSD. Does that make sense? Meh. It's an idea!

I think kids want acid. And the more that want it the better (attributed to an increase of supply of course). I thought pot was a milestone...but im not sure whos sig said it but it was very true.

    Pot is the flame
    Ecstasy is the wick
    LSD is the bomb.

    peace

very true... once again which is why we simply cannot have an "LSD rebirth" in America... people can't just start taking acid in public and freaking out the establishment because it will only become harder and harder to even take lsd in privacy. but, lsd is still a major influence on society. look at architecture, art and music. look at the light show you get on a computer music player. inspired by lsd, but now in a totally different context. this is one way we can incorporate the lsd experience into our culture, but unfortunately our culture is money driven and even the most far out, psychedelic, mind expanding creation gets marketed and sold for a profit (including LSD sold at festivals by hippies).

    we should buy an island...

no, see you cannot do that. if you give lsd to a shit ton of people and try to recreate the Kesey era acid tests, you will get fucked. people will freak out, the cops will get involved, you will go to jail and LSD will once again be on the news with more horor stories to scare the majority of our country. when kesey and the dead were doing that, LSD wasn't yet illegal, was clean and real, free and overall it was new. people were experimenting with their heads and testing their nervous system... still a party but a far cry from the way lsd is looked at today. today it is considered a hard drug and most kids take it (at first) just for another good time, another way to get high.
