Louis Theroux

Any one here seen some of his documentaries? Some of them were aired on British TV a while back, I think they might have been also shown in America?

For anyone who hasnt, hes a British reporter who visits and stays for weird weekends with strange, usually american subcultures like UFO believers, survivalists in Idaho, Neo-Nazis in California...

I think hes really quite talented, and usually funny.Also seeing how some odd people live there lives is very interesting.

 

i have watched a few of his documentaries a while back when they were on bbc2, and i watched the ones he made while staying with celebraties (z list) such as the Hamiltons and bendy spoon man- Urie Gellar (sp), they were quite amusing

I watched some of his documentaries & they all were very good but i think they've stopped airing them for some reason. are there any new ones?

 

I havent seen any new ones in a while. The last one was called the Christmas special I think, where some of the folk from the weird weekends come together for christmas dinner, including the religious guy and the porn star! Id really like to see it. I emailed the BBC a while back now, and got a reply saying there was no intention to show them again in the near future. Ill have to try and find a big fan of Louis' who might have taped them and get a copy
