    Greetings, all...just a guy on a quest to find his 'bees'...found myself doing the whole 'what am I doing with my life?' thing, as well as growing more and more discontented with how far off course the world is socially, politically, etc...and here I am. Figure there's some open-minded free-thinkers here that I can vibe with. Looking forward to making friends, loosening up somewhat and checking out of the mainstream one day very, very soon, as I am sick of all of the mateialism and superficiality. Glad to be here...

    Hello cozmo, Welcome. Not too far from ya. Lots of hillbillies in TN (hillbillies are pretty cool). I think hillbillies are a cross between a redneck and a hippie. (all in fun)

    LOL....allow me to explain about the 'bees' comment...Do you remember the Blind Melon video "No Rain"?(early nineties I think)...Well, the concept is this little bespectacled girl in a rather ridiculous bee costume running 'round in the city streets and seeking to be accepted by various people, with disastrous results (and tears) until she comes upon a group of people dressed like her and frolicking in a field...much ecstatic celebration follows as she joins up with others like her and finally feels like she belongs. Well, I use the term 'my bees' as a sort of metaphor for other people like me. Hence, me searching for my 'bees' is me looking for others as intellectually twisted as myself!
