Hi, I'm currently living with my parents in the west suburbs. I'm looking to move out. I have about $550 saved up for rent and other expenses. I need roommates. I'd prefer a communal-type environment, but I will definitely accept the normal way of going about this type of thing. I'm a smoker, non-drinker (but ok with people who do,), pot-smoker. Radical political views. Freegan/almost vegan. College student. In a committed relationship. Open-minded. Easy to get along with as long as you're not a total jerk. Generous, artistic, intelligent. Would like to be more of an activist, which would be easier to do when I'm living on my own. I enjoy volunteering, slightly involved with Food Not Bombs. Want to also volunteer for Chicago Recovery Alliance. I'm a freelance model and odd-jobist as well as a student. I get SSI disability for being crazy (depression, OCD, anxiety disorder, borderline bipolar. If i take my meds, I'm not TOO crazy. ;x). I don't want to pay more than $300 a month for rent. I Dumpster dive and like to find alternative ways to live besides just working my ass off and buying everything. I'm computer and internet-savy. I'm not a complete slob, but I'm far from a neat freak. I'm all about compromise. I have some health problems, but they aren't your problems. I must admit, I've got some pending drug-related legal problems. (I'm not a crackhead or anything though. ) I need to live somewhere in or near the city, preferably the north side.
