Longest You've sat

How long was the longest you sat for a tattoo at one time?

I sat for two and a half hours on Friday and couldn't take anymore...so I quit in the middle of my tattoo...

Well, at least the lining was finished...

 

god, my last tatoo, I basically took off running .... I felt faint, it was terrible. The longest has only ever been an hour for me. I am a whimp.

 

I was having my ribs tattooed...My tattoo artist said I lasted longer than he thought I would! LOL

usually they only will do about 4 hours eh?

 

The artists at the shop I go to will usually go as long as they or the client can go without the artist's back hurting or the client passing out...

My first one took an hour. I also had a 5 minute break between outlining & coloring.

 

The longest I've sat was 7 hours with a half hour break for lunch and a 3-4 15 minute breaks.

Usually, I'll sit for about 4 with a couple short breaks.

2 and a half hours on the ribs is gnarly. Not something I'd be stoked on.

4 hours with a couple of 5 minute smoke breaks. I'm tough.

 

my longest was 7 hours . most ofd my sessions are 5 hours or so.

What kinda tattoo are you getting Annie?

My longest time was just an hour, both of my tattoos are fairly small.

 

I'm getting a leaf of a fern frond on my side...I have all the lining done so far and about a quarter of the color. I was in too much pain to finish it...it's the largest one I have so far and in a few of the most painful spots to get a tattoo imo...

It looks great so far, even though it still hurts like crazy!
