Second snake bite of the year. this time on his nose. he looks like a bobble head..lol :smilielol5: dont worry animal lovers he is fine. we dosed him with vitamin c and he is eating.. we will give him a shot of antibiotics in a bit. i will try an get a pic up sometime today..
my dads dog can't differentiate between fox tails and regular grass. she's dumb as a post. SWEET dog, but, oh she's dumb.
heres some pics.. the swelling has already went down a lot. this morning his eyes were swollen shut. you can see the fang marks on the tip of his snout..
Aww.. poor baby. see, thats what Im scared of. I hate seeing my babies hurt. They cry and it breaks my heart. If a human baby cries, I get annoyed.
i dunno didnt see it but a educated guess is a copperhead. they are everywhere here and the swelling is conducive to a copperhead bite. oh and its a he..
What a gorgeous dog Glad he's doing better! Poor baby... My dog got bitten by our pet snake a while ago. It's funny, since then Rosie (the dog) has been so terrified of Bender (the snake). She sits in front of his box sometimes just staring at him and if he moves at all she freaks out and runs into her bed looking all pathetic.
lol....so, if you got bit by a snake twice in one year would you consider yourself stupid? Just checking
if i got bit once i would consider myself careless/stupid.. yes.. like i said, they are EVERYWHERE here.you learn real quick to watch where you walk and where you put your hands. or in his case snout..lol he just got bit on the leg a couple months ago..stupid dog..
we are in georgia way up in the mountains. pretty much where tn,ga and nc come together.. less than 20 miles as the crow flies from both state lines.
in his defense he is a Great Pyrenees.. its his job to defend his herd so maybe he is letting his loyalty override his common sense..lol
