And the weather stations and stuff are FREAKING OUT. I think it's hilarious because I talk to you guys up north and stuff and it's been WAY worse than this already. It's 13 degrees F and they're all flipping out about a severe arctic cold front or something dumb. Anyway, it's Sunday, which means the only outing on my agenda is going to pick up some Dr. Pepper a little bit later. I'm going to spend my time in the warm house. Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyaaaaah,
That's pretty funny to hear when there is currently about 2 feet of snow on the ground and I can barely see the houses across the street it is snowing so hard. (I know you guys are not prepared for snow removal or winter driving, it just sounds weird to have an emergency over it)
I have this weather bar at the top of my browser and it has the red exclamation point that they put up when there's like a blizzard or a ton of ice or a tornado, but it's just cold out there, lol. No precipitation, so no snow or ice. But we have to be careful this time around because last week when it froze outside, so did the ghetto pipe we have draning the bathtub into the yard (haha, soooo ghetto!) froze and the tub wouldn't drain. I was really relieved to read that snow's not in the forecast just yet. I'd be screwed if I got snowed in because my hours are shit the next two weeks due to it being the holidays and all and we're closed Christmas and New Year's and only open half a day on the Eves, so I don't even work those days. Ah well, we'll make it. We always do.
well it's the holiday for me so if it snowed it'd be great. Only problem would be how to see my friends.
Haha, I wish it would snow here, but no such luck. Though it is supposed to drop into the teens with percipitation tonight so here's hoping!
Fuck it? Long as you don't fuck it long - else you might get frostbite. Not pwetty, not pwetty at all.
One of the TV news networks years back was showing people driving in Texas after one of these cold/ice spells hit the area. People looked like they were doing 80 mph on icy road, spinning out, and flying into the ditch on the side of the freeways. Crazy. .
13 degrees is cold by anyones standard, hell its colder than it is here But my 14 degrees is accompanied by 20 inches of snow which has fallen since friday so nyah, nyah, nyah ....... hotwater
tundra conditions have begun. Snow is highhhh I went to the garage today to bring out some trash and recycling, and I stood watching from beneath my hood the wind blow snow across the silent street. Very quiet.
We're also under a high wind warning until midnight with the storm exploding out over the gulf of maine hotwater
I always get homesick in the winter. Even though I've lived in Kentucky for 8 years, I still consider Colorado my home. Man I miss REAL snow soooo much sometimes. Here they freak out and close all the schools when there's frost on the ground. I've even seen them close schools because there was a chance of snow....but it never came. Yet in Denver I remember walking to school in 3' or more of fresh powder several times a year. It's about 10 degrees here, I don't mind the cold but it just pisses me off when there's no snow involved.
