So, ive been thinking more about my risk of testicular cancer. I once heard from the radio that men born either under 8-9 pounds and above 9 pounds are more likely to develop testicular cancer. I was a 10 pound baby.

Im curious to know if lumps appear in a specific place or if they pop up in random places.

Recently, ive noticed a small bump, about the size of a pea, on my left testical, on the side, about 2-3 cm away from my leg, and about a inch away from the bottom area of my balls.

It looks somewhat like a pimple, at first i thought it was just a bump caused by friction, but im starting to get worried.

I never notice any pain, but sometimes when i do push-ups, when i sit on my knees or stand up, i feel a sharp pain in my penis/balls for a bit, and it goes away.

    Im just worried and curious

    thanks

while an ingrown hair may be a possibility, do you REALLY want to risk it? i wouldn't if i were you. HAVE IT CHECKED OUT.

Mamas right , get it checked out. Although the way you describe it sounds more like something on the scrotum not the testicle itself...

After reading your replies, i checked again.

I lightly squezed the area below the bump, and it is not connected to the testical, so it may be on the scrotum.

But are lumps only attached to the testicle?

    sorry if this confuses you

    thanks tho

a cancerous growth can show up anywhere, at any age. i'm particularly terrified of cancer because my stepson is only just recently in remission and he's not yet 16. however, an ingrown hair is possible, and i hope that's all it is. but if it's causing you discomfort and pulling when you're going about normal activities, don't fuck around with it..

Im going to the doctor in about 2 months anyway, so i should find out then.

i think it may just be from friction, i dont have any pain when im doing anything normal.

    Thank you for the information.

And i hope your son will get better and never suffer from tc again.
And if all goes well, hopefully you will never get it.

one can hope i'll never get cancer on my balls or prostate. that would be very uncomfortable and hard to explain.

two months, though? please don't think you're invincible. these are the family jewels, defend them.

Action Lad - it sounds like an ingrown hair on your scrotum. Your testicles should feel smooth, like small eggs. You only have concern about testicular cancer if you feel a lump or sharp place on the testicle itself. But have a doctor check it out if it does not go away soon.
