little piece of fingernail....

my index finger's nail came off when playing my guitar (i haven't clipped them for a while and they were too long!). NOW ... i have this little hang nail that hurts when i start to pull it off. but it's kinda like a good hurt? like when you have a blister inside your mouth and you chew on it? anyone else got any 'good-hurt' examples????
