So last night I finally got round to removing all the lint that has attached itself to my dreads, and that has been there for about a year. I got about a handful worth of stuff out xD

I was wondering, especially with light coloured hair, does anyone else have a problem with lint? Do you bother removing it?

Every Morning I Do The Doggie Shake, Or The Dready Head Bang...:).

Not Much Comes Out, Tis Just Two Or Three Little Bits.

When I Work On The Farm, I Always Wear A Beanie, Which Has A Inner

Lining Of Very Thin Material To Keep Out The Dirt.... etc

In My Virginal Bed, I Have A Pure Wool Sweater On The Pillow Which Gets Washed Every

    5-7 Days.

What On Earth Do You Do To Accumulate That Much Lint..

    Cheers Glen.

I have no idea what I do xD I wear black hoodies alot and I have a black scarf, and my house is very dusty. I've never had a proper de-linting of my dreads in the 2.5 years I've had them so yea xD Plus in the first few months my friend caked them with wax, so some of the lint that was at the bottom of some dreads has come from the dust that landed on that wax and has sorta worked its way down the dread.

    Haha!! Waxaholic.

DV, I have this giant thick green blanket that gives off lint layers every moment of the day and i keep finding this green lint inside my dreads, impossible for me to get out since they are so loose it would pull them out. Bah, I'll just wait about two years until they're like yours and then get them out with a lint brush. Hehe.

I'm got embedded lint and it isn't going anywhere. This one bit drove me so mad I ended up cutting it out. Each morning I pick out loose fuzzies, in the front at least. No idea how much is in the back....

Its mostly white fuzzies from my blanket. Switched blankets, same problem.

I didn't use a lint brush, I used scissors to cut out the bastards embedded, and just mah finger nails for the bits on the surface. I think it took half an hour in all :S I'll probably look at them tonight and find there's more lint that wants to shag my dreads

I get a lil' bit... If I see it I'll pull it out, but it's not common. I have more other things in my hair. You can't see it or anything though.

Ash juniper needles are a MOTHERFUCKER, if you walk through a thicket WITHOUT locks they'll be hard to get out, with my hair during the summer I repeatedly got them totally impregnated, it took a while but eventually I think they all worked out, there might be one or two in the core of locks, but not that I know the warebouts of. Once I found a penny, but It had only been there part of the night, and just fell out... then again, sometimes I've woken up with a penny stuck to my face and didn't know it for a little while, so that's not unique to having locks.

Everyone makes mistakes the first couple months. You grow wiser from it. And your dreads end up looking gorgeous in hmm let's say TWO YEARS ;)

I didn't even know what lint was until I googled it. Although I was on the right track :D
I pick out the random bit of fluff if I see it, but other than that I either don't have much or can't see it.

Hahaha, wha!? I think it's a bit odd to have pennies stuck in random places on your head. That's pretty funny, "Um, excuse me sir, but did you know you have a penny stuck to your face?"

    Hehe.

There's a character in the terry pratchett books who has a duck on his head but he doesn't know he has a duck on his head and everyone leaves him be because he has a duck on his head

Hehe monkeys :D I'd love to do that. Have a friend with dreads and just help each other pick out fluff like monkeys with bugs xD
