Light question, help!

Hey guys.
I was thinking... I know I can use the Fluorescent light on my vegetation room but instead of changing to a HPS light on the flowering stage can I just keep them on the Fluorescent light?
If so do you think it's going to take more time or grow less amount...?
And, btw, how many plants by light?

I'd say watt for watt against the hps you would get less with the flurescents and would need 50-100 watts per sq foot, as for per plant really all depends on side and style of grow. Also light spectrum to consider blue tight bud red nice long bud dicks. Time wise would be the same.

 

I started growing with flourescents I got free off craigs list. I did suprisingly well with them. I used blue in veg and blue and red in bud. I have since bought 2-8 bulb t-5's with red and blue for my bud room and it kicks ass. My girlfriend who has never used anything but mh and sodium can't believe it and says my AK is as good as any she's grown. Doesn't have the heat that HID has and uses lots less juice.
