Hey all.... I've been on bc since March (trinessa) and my libido is barely hanging in there. I'm single, so it's really not an issue now, but in the future, is there anything I can take/do to increase libido without disrupting the effectiveness of the pill? (I take the pill because of severe cramping and pms, so getting off of it isn't an option.) -Kate
That has happened to me, too, with the Nuvaring.... I try to suppress it. It helps to get high. But ask your doctor.... she might know.
I have the same reaction to hormonal birth control. I wish I had some advise for you. I need to be able to ovulate to have any kind of libido so I use barrier methods instead. But then I'm in my 30's, married and have children so accidently getting pregnant isn't a huge issue for us. Wish I had something more helpful to say. Kathy
