David Letterman's stalker Margaret Mary Ray was very troubled, being obsessed with him and having schizophrenia. But Letterman was never hurt even when she was found trespassing into his home a couple of times. He always refused to press charges as an act of kindness, but her story ended tragically with her suicide in 1998. But I always thought that was so compassionate of him to do that.
