I put myself up against a wall shivering the entire night while I wondered what to do how to make the right move without leaving you I watched through the window the moon rise and fall in the sky there is so much room that we could have shared lets fly away together you and I make a home together in the stars, leaving behind our earthly scars but down here on earth I should have found the right words to let you know that I do care but your body was so peaceful and I could feel your breath on my neck your heart pounding out the rhythms in your chest and so silently I slipped away to leave you to your rest and now I am left speechless and sorry.
