Leniency Of State Marijuana Laws

I just realized tonight while I was checking some news on Norml that this is Alaska's penelty on marijuana. I thought they made it illegal in the late 80s, but it still appears as if it is decriminalized there. My dad used to grow when we lived there...

I'd rather have the warmth and leniency that California gives you, though.

But damn man, I live in Virginia, and they'll kick you where it hurts here. It's such a crying shame, man. It's a plant.

 

Well, I just moved, and I don't know how the cops around here are...and I don't really wanna find out

I know. I was just thinking the same myself. This is the reason my dad ran to Alaska when he was about 20ish.

Up to four ounces, yes. It is decriminalized to that point. New York is decriminalized to 25 grams, but if caught, you do have to pay a $100 fine. It's treated like a traffic violation.

ya, its always good to know your cards when you end up with cuffs round your hands, keep in mind though when it comes to cultivation laws the federal government can always come into play despite state laws and its a happy bus ride to pound you in the ass prison after your done with your state sentence that is. I just know it can happen I'm not a legal expert so I really don't know under which conditions it applies.
Glad I still got my canadian citizenship and my ass is off to BC for college

 

Yeah, that's why I don't mess with cultivation and usually have friends who know a lot about it... Plus, that way if I know them, they often just give it to me. As in some places having it given as a "gift" is legal and quite tolerated. I know especially in Alaska, because my dad used to do the kind of thing and was into it and tells me about a lot of the things he used to do back in the day.
