okay, as much as i love to eat my pot instead of smoking it, i rarely do cause its a lot longer lasting and more intensely narcotic...i'd be uncomfortable with driving a car after eating pot food.... anyway, as much as i like the effect of orally consumed pot, when i have the time and resources to get high this way i've never made leary biscuits. well, i decided to finally give it a whirl today. i made four with marbled cheddar cheese, triscuits, and a gram of high quality pot ground very finely. i ate them on an empty stomach about 20 minutes ago.....should be a good time, but i've never eaten high quality pot before, so hopefully i dosed appropriately (i usually eat 1.3-1.7g of middies)
I read somewhere that using high quality pot gives you the same high as schwag, so I believe that was a waste (don' trust me much though, I've never eaten any of the two)
it will have the same basic effect but more THC means a smaller dose needed. theres no way stronger pot will have the exact same level of effect as eating shwag
I found it somewhere either on www.smokingwithstyle.com or somewhere in the links contained there in. It was in a recipe on how to make pot cookies or something, and it said it was better to use low quality because you will still get high and you don't waste your primo stuff. Be sure to report back on how it goes =)
they wrote that because certain people (like me) regard eating marijuana as a novelty and would rather save the class stuff for smoking.
yeah, but its a toss up, really. i mean i'm far more likely to use lower grade pot for eating than high grade stuff, because i can get so much more for so much less money (ounce for 100-135USD instead of a quarter for 100 bucks) but i have a little extra of the good shit lying around, i have an evening free and havent eaten pot in a while, so i wanted to try it. i seriously doubt the effect will be different, but gram for gram its bound to be stronger. this stuff is stronger than middies, but it tastes and smells about the same. still, it far easier to eat than middies. this stuff is dry and compact, but not as excrutiatingly dry as middies. eating middies that arent cooked is like trying to eat dirt....gritty, dry, hard, nasty....raw or nearly raw middies are hard to eat more because of the texture than the flavor....this stuff was still dry, but soft and silky in texture, even when ground up well.....honestly when put on a cracker with cheese melted on it, it tasted like broccoli with cheese on it on a cracker.... good stuff, not unpleasant tasting, easy to get down.
a gram of dank should be plenty. i usually use just over a gram of some pretty dank nugget and it gets me pretty good for 5-6 hours if im eating firecrackers/leary biscuits. sometimes i will cook with a little less than a gram on a single firecracker, just to give me that consistant, but not too powerful body buzz. from there, if i wanna be higher, i can just smoke some. i hear you, i once at 3 grams of dank on firecrackers and i was retarded high, and i kept fucking up at work and shit... it was less than desirable, so now i try not to overdo it if ive got shit to do that day. let us know how it goes, and have fun.
its been roughly an hour and ten minutes, so i feel a bit off baseline but the dose wasn't huge and it takes over an hour to feel the first alerts and it grows steadily for a while after that....ive got the delicious broccoli-weed flavored burps and i'm feeling mellow...i'd be willing to wager than in another hour i'll be feeling fucking fiiiiiiiine. i'd hate to work after eating weed. that would be even harder than smoking a bong or two right before work. anyways i think i ate enough, but for good measure im about to take a good old rip off the gravity bong
