Lazy bastard

Good morning,

Gyro is still a lazy bastard . Since a few weeks I'm enrolled in a MIT course. So far I missed 1 out of 4 labs or so and this week I missed my first homework. I could easily do it, it's not such complicated stuff. But, well I could do it this evening. Ah, the weather is so nice, let's go for short hike this evening. I can do the homework tomorrow. Oops, tomorrow I have an appointment with a customer. OK, then the day after that. Dang, deadline missed. Nothing has changed over the years, except that there is now a fancy word for that behaviour: procrastination .

Procrastination is how I ended up failing all my classes and being kicked out of university. Now that I got back in I find it much easier to do my work so it doesn't happen again.

 

My problem isn't procrastination, my problem is just laziness. That's why I go to school online, I can do all of my homework naked and with my bong in my hand. I think if I actually had to get dressed and drive to class I wouldn't go at all.

Well, I do it for fun, so it doesn't matter much if I do the homework or not. But on the other hand I feel bad if I don't do the homework or if I get a poor grade. Hmm.

I know that form, too. If I have a day off I think about all the fun things I can do. But then nothing happens. Back to work I feel bad about the time I wasted thinking about fun things and not doing them.
