I feel like I'm kind of annoying some people here, but that's probably because I'm stuck in bed with a blood-sucking vac attatched to me. I'm going to ask something that will definitely cause some shit talking so please refrain from telling me what an addict or a douche I am. Just skip the post if this upsets you. I can't prove that I'm being honest so please just try and give me the benefit of the doubt.

I explained the pain I'm in in the previous post...there's a reason the docs put me on 20mg of oxycodone every 4 hourse once I left. Today an urgent care doc gave me some vicodin ES until I see a surgeon b/c he hardly ever prescribes PKs. He told me it will be very hard to get anything strong again, because doctors nowadays actually go against their best judgement for fear of being flagged.

Here goes nothin—how do you find a Dr. feelgood other than word of mouth? Why would I pay to see a surgeon for PKs? Obviously I can't ask for specific docs or clinics, but how would one living in West Los Angeles go about finding one? Clearly they don't advertise that. Do you think the doctors that prescribe medical marijuana might be more likely to prescribe PKs than another doc? I mean how the hell do you find this sort of thing without connections? How do you spot the ones out online or in yellow pages? I have no street connects whatsoever. Was never really a pill guy until I was in pain. What are the steps you should go through to find one. If any of you know about how to do this thing, it'd really cool if you could message me via email or PM, or something. Someway to talk privately, or just reply. This really is the last bit of info I'll ask, don't worry. thanks in advance

A Dr.feelgood is just a criminal with a medical license. Best place to find a criminal is around other criminals, and they aren't hard to find.

if the doctors arent giving you the meds you want, its likely because they don't think it's neccessary or that you can responsibly use them.

I know plenty of people who are prescribed what you're after and they have no issues getting the meds they need....key word here is "need". It doesnt honestly sound like you NEED these pills for a legite reason, it sounds more like you're looking to kill some sort of emotional/mental/spiritual pain. No amount of drugs in this world can truly fix those types of issues, what YOU NEED is some meditation- maybe some therapy, and just some good ol mj to help you work through whatever it is that's truly bothering you.

as i said in the other thread, its not a good idea to use these kinds of drugs when you're unstable...get back to the basics and suck it up.

I'm sure to some extent I do want to achieve that high. It's nice, however I could much more easily get my hands on something more enjoyable considering how much easier it has become to obtain illicit drugs. I'm in a great deal of pain nonetheless, and I'd much rather not have to tough it out if getting PKs is an option.

I've heard a lot of you say that the doctors will give you as much medications as you need, but clearly that's not necessarily true. That's why people on these forums get angry at the people who have abused the system; now people who actually need them, usually do not get the adequate amount. For example, maybe a straight doctor who would once have prescribed 20mg of oxycodone, will now only prescribe 10mg. The reason it hurts so bad is because I caused minor nerve damage (apparently minor damage results in big pain). Sure, I might not need it as much as some people, but no one technically needs it to survive, it's there to help one carry out something similar to their usual way of life, and to keep them from feeling miserable.

The reason I made this thread and do not feel guilty exploring my options anymore is mainly b/c and actual doctor pretty much said that i need a lot more than he could give me, but he'd give me Vicodin ES until I could see a surgeon. wouldn't you be frustrated if a doctor told you that doctors now have to go against their best judgement (sort of implying that that was what he was doing in my case) for fear of being flagged?

that you mentioned...I def get where you're coming from considering what I did, wasted or not, but I am very glad I did it. Something bad had to happen before I could admit I needed some help, and luckily it wasn't something worse. I've been going through a ton but never wanted to put it on the ones close to me since they're already having a rough time too. I'm much happier now than I've been in a long time, because I am going to a therapist and I'm finally able to get support from loved ones. I get where you're coming from though.

Dude, what you need is a pain clinic. There are doctors that actually specialize in pain management. I have a chronic pain condition and get 30mg of oxycodone 7 times a day. Just look for a pain clinic and your troubles will be gone. IF OF COURSE, YOU REALLY HAVE A CHRONIC PROBLEM and they will screen you really well to make sure you are what you say that you are.
