I decided to receive 2016 in bare feet. I went out to my backyard to see the fireworks. At the exact moment the date changed, from about 23:57 to 0:02 hours, I removed my shoes (I had no socks) and stood barefoot on the snowy ground, watching the fireworks, for about 5 minutes until the new year started. The weather conditions were -3 Celcius (26,6 Fah) plus wind, so it started to get a bit painful at the end of that 5 minutes. So, still barefoot, I then returned indoors where I dipped my feet into a bowl of warm water that I had prepared in the shower room just for this, to allow my feet to warm back up. After my feet were warm and dry again, I returned outside and did the remainder of my fireworks viewing wearing my sneakers. But now, back inside the house, I'm barefoot again. This excursion really invigorated my circulation again. Anybody else barefoot on this night?
Broke in 2016 barefoot as well! Of course however, we rang in the new year in someone's home a couple blocks away so going barefoot wasn't difficult to do. -___-
