I heard of this thing, called a Knifty Knitter. It's supposed to make knitting easy. Have any of you heard of it or used one? I'm thinking about buying one,I just want to make a couple of hats and maybe a scarf. Is this cheating? Oh and nice forum,by the way
I have a set! It's really simple and easy. You just wrap the yarn around the pegs, going around twice, and then lift the bottom loops over the top loops, wrap again, lift, and repeat. Er, those are bad instructions, but it really is easy. I purchased my set from Walmarts*cringes* but it was about $12(compared to $23 at Hancocks). I recommend it if you really aren't to keen on actual knitting(I can only do the very simplistic knit-stitch thing and it's always curly) and sometimes I don't want to fool with crocheting something that can easily be done on the Knifty. In case you don't know, you can also do a flat piece(as opposed to the round) by not looping where the loops would originally connect. Though that can cause the piece to curl(my problem with actual knitting), unless you use thick yarn/a couple of strands together. I hope I did confuse you with any of my descriptions on using it.
Thanks Moondream! I'm definitely getting one now...it sounds great. I can't knit at all....so hopefully this will make it easier. Hehe,I'm excited about it
