Earlier today I was walking home from the store, when I saw a young girl (no older than 18) with blond puffy hair, and black stripes down the sides. She was wearing a short black skirt, barely covering her knees. And to top it of she was wearing a thick layer of eyeliner.... UGH... In my days, girls were expected to look proper and tidy. She was sitting on a park bench, playing on her mobile phone. I approached her and said "excuse me miss, but these benches are for people who wish to feed the birds, or read newspapers, they are not here so that you can laze about while playing your electronic video games". She looked up at me confused. "I'm sending a message to my friend" she said in the rudest of tones. Not only did she miss my point, she had to be a complete pompous ass about it. Humble as I am, I calmly replied with "If you wanted to talk to your friend, then why didn't you have her met you here instead?". She gave me a stern look and said "HE.." as if correcting me.... Oh, I'm so sorry for not knowing that you're an irresponsible floozy, spreading your legs for every guy that will give you the time of the day, but now that I think of it, I should have expected so much of her. Anyway, she continued: "HE is at work so he can't come here". What on earth is he doing flirting with one of his doubtless many conquests (yes, we're all very impressed) when he should be working? What a spoiled worthless bastard! This is your future America, your proud youth... LOOK AT THEM, sleeping about, wasting themselves, without a care in the world!!! At this point I was infuriated. I yelled out "alright, that's enough! Leave this bench for someone who deserves it!". She looks around and says "but, there's no one else here...". Yes, and I suppose that means you can do whatever you like... For Gods sake! I've had enough of this. Parents, own up to your responsibilities and teach your children restraint! Whip some good old fashioned sense into them, preferably with a belt. Let them know the consequences of their actions. This soft parenting which is becoming so popular in America makes me sick, and ruining our young. When I was young, I was taught to respect my elders, but respect for the old is constantly dwindling. I feel embarrassed for my country, and fear for it's future.
Some folks do things strictly for shock value- to offend while others make it their business to be offended- angered that another individual does not adhere to their standards of decorum. It's really the perfect arrangement to mix these two as one clearly addresses the need of the other. It must be quite the burden to carry around such a strong need to be offended without a worthy cause to blame such negative energy on. Fortunately that girl was there for you. Her parents are owed a great debt of gratitude- to be thoughtful enough to practice shoddy parenting and give the universe something people can feel superior to. Ain't life grand?
"Spreading your legs for every guy who will give you the time of the day" Best thing I've ever read You should run for president
actually, public benches are for public use.. there is no intended use of a bench, unless otherwise posted... so you were being rude by approaching her and telling her she cant do what she was legally entitled to do... ya ass..
There's definitely wacky old people out there who would do this. Even though this thread is an obvious joke... right.
damn i heard that same type of shit from my mother day in and day out growing up! my mother has been dead almost 4 years so, i'm quite sure the op is not her; unless, if she is haunting the shit out of me from beyond her grave. that would be just like her too!
Personally I believe the OP is generally concerned about the youth of america, more specifically 18 year old girls, and having been rejected he’s displaying his sexual frustration through this soliloquy
Or the television. TV and ADD are linked. Yeah, I grew up watching TV, but I watched movies. Not this commercial TV with 8 minutes of programming and 5 minutes of commercials. Great way to teach kids to pay attention...
