Just tryin to meet interesting ppl...

hey i'm liz, living in borring new jersy. I wanna travel world eventaully and experience everything. I am always willing to try new things, i get myself into trouble that way... I wanna meet new ppl and chat about things so if u have somthing to talk about, anything, respond.

PS. the question on my mind lalty...
When is it appropriate to lie? Is is ever the right thing to do?

In my experience, honesty is GENERALLY the best policy. It is harder to keep track of lies, than it is the truth. And when you lie to someone, you are not trusting them to be capable of handling honesty. Most times, people can handle more than you think they can.

That said, I have lied to people that I knew could not handle the truth, or who would be greatly pained by the honesty. I really don't lie very easily and I tend to get caught. So generally, my lies are "lies of omission", basically I just don't tell the whole truth, rather than out-and-out lie.

And I have caused people a great deal of pain, by telling them things that would have been better off unknown. For instance: telling my grandmother that I pawned a cross that she gave me, that had a diamond from her mother's ring in it, in order to get drugs. No, I should not have told her about that...

 

i under stand that lies arnt good but if you can tell one in need for some one else to be happy then its good to a level just dont builed on it .

 

I only lie to my parrents... not always but uzualy
I also lie in certain situations... like when i have a class friend that doesen't alaways do dumb things (like me) and in that day it happend that he did a dumb thing I uzually tell teachers that I did that (well if it's pozible)

liz im new too and i really wanna meet some open minded free spirited people. i live in indiana and these kinds of people are seriously lacking. im one of those people who run away just to get out there without a plan or money for that matter. no that ive ever done it...yet.

Honesty is always good, I think you just have to choose your words.

Travel the world, it is a very interesting place. I spent 5 months last year in the South Pacific, 3 in New Zealand and then 2 months in Samoa. It changed my life an unbelievable amount. Best thing I ever did. I now go to school on the other side of the continent than where I was raised. I consider it a travel experience too.

I drove through New Jersey once... sorry to say, but it was boring, *wink*.
