Moonrise last night... trick of perspective by zooming in and focusing on the moon with distant trees dwarfed by it.

lunaverse... digital. SLR to come-- with a telescope and lens adapter. That'll be a while though.

I very much enjoy a good capture... something that may be time and location critical... coming away with something close to what I envision is its own reward- that people appreciate them is a very nice bonus.... and would make it worthwhile if I didn't get such enjoyment our of taking them.

 

I like the moon one. Its very pretty.
And with the way it looks for the lighting one I think you should of gotten like a full shot, with the house and lighting and all. But ether way it is very pretty. I love lighting

 

There both nice pics, but that moon one is really awesome...

 

Some of the ground clutter would have detracted from the lightning picture I think... but I do understand your point. Thanks and glad you enjoy them

Did you decrease the contrast for the moon shot? I love how you can only see the trees in front of the moon and nothing else on the sides.
