just moved to new york... things to do....

hi, i just recently moved to new york and i wanted to know cool places to go, hippie events or other cool things....

 

come to the botanical gardens in the Bronx and smoke doobies and walk around

 

Grenwich village.

Finding something cool to do in NYC shouldnt be hard. It's only the coolest city in the world.

 

Just moved New York from Arizona. Which are the good places in NYC to go for the Hip-Hop... Finding difficult to get them.. really need some good places...

 

Dunno, Manhatten area is where I went and if you look the part, whatever that means , some rave chick hands me a flyer about a rave in a nearby club, which has since been torn down..oh well..ask around the local people you know about hip hop venues, if you have been to any in NYC, then surely you meet some others there and got there number to find out and keep in touch , if not network at a hip hop club,event with someone who is into the scene and get a # and get to know some of the others there that are into hip hop shows,etc, and keep in touch with them, they will find and know about some cool underground hip hop spots and groups.

 

NY state is big, what area are you in? This weekend there's a balloon fest in jamesville, with a dead coverband and moe at night saturday.

 

I'm in Suffolk county in long island

 

I moved to long beach now... Anything good here?
