I'm having identical twin girls. I'm so happy . My husband just got a new(better) job, that will pay a lot more money. It actually seems like we might be able to afford 4 kids after all. Luckily, I saved all my boy/girl twins clothes, so we won't have to buy anything. Since we were expecting two girls at the beggining of that pregnancy, we are overwhelmed with girl clothes. Everything is falling into place now. Sorry I didn't reply to any of the other posts, I've been really stressed out lately about how we could afford 2 more off of our small income. I just wanted to give everyone an update.

Awww, congratulations sweetheart. I'm so glad that things are looking up for you and your family as far as the financial aspect. It really will all work out too. Where there's a will, there's a way, right? [IMG]

How are you feeling these days?

Thanks everyone for your post. I'm feeling pretty good now that I'm over all the morning/all day long sickness. I'm just VERY tired these days. Keeping up with two VERY active 15 month old "babies" seems to be taking it's toll on me now. Honestly, I think I could sleep for a few days straight if given the chance.

I can imagine! I know I'm exhausted taking care of my twins, and they'll be 3 years old in May. They are quite the little schemers, they work together to produce mass chaos. ;) My oldest son is 6 years old, and he's such an awesome helper. Man, I don't know what I'd do without him! He's just fantastic with his brother and sister. Such a turn around from how he was in the beginning.

But man, I couldn't imagine being pregnant with twins and having to chase after a set at the same time. No wonder you're exhausted!

Hippychickmommy- That's so great that your oldest helps out with your twins. I'm hoping that the older my two get, they will want to help out and play with the new babies. I really worry about the jealousy factor, since I am a stay at home mom with no help at all. New twins will basically take up most of my time, so I'm afraid that my two will suffer because of it. Did your oldest have any problems adjusting? Do you have any advice for making the transition easier for them? I don't want them to think that mommy doesn't love them anymore because of the new babies.

I remember with my mom having my younger siblings (albeit, not twins)....when she was pregnant she spent a lot of time with me and some dolls, saying now we need to change the diaper/feed the babies/aww, baby's crying, let's make him feel better....She spent a ton of time explaining to me and showing me that I could help out too, and by helping her out in very simple ways (I was 2 when she was pregnant) I was spending time with her AND showing her I loved her, allowing her to spend time with me and show me she loved me as well...

Don't worry about your twins. Just know that they will understand and DO understand now to some extent. I think babies are a lot more able to understand than some people give them credit for. Your babies will be good older siblings. :)
